Food has a way of bringing neighbors together, and every family in Tomball has at least one recipe that deserves to be shared. This new section of the Tomball Insider is a place for locals to pass along the dishes they love most, from weeknight staples to holiday favorites and backyard cookout classics. If it’s something you make for friends, church gatherings, or potlucks, we want to feature it. Send it in and let the community try a taste of your kitchen.

GALANTINES STROLL

Galentine’s Shopping Stroll returns to Old Town Tomball on Thursday, February 12, and it’s an easy excuse to call your friends, leave the house, and make a night of it. From 5 to 9 p.m., the streets stay open late for an evening built around browsing, chatting, and treating yourselves to a few favorite stops along the way.

Start with a little shopping at spots like Jayden Layne Boutique, The Golden Knob Boutique, Kirtley and Company, SunCo. Beachwear, or Laramie & Co., then pop into Bath Hut Boutique Tomball, Tender Touch Gifts, or Splendid Things Stained Glass for something fun and unexpected. If you’re in the mood for a refresh, swing by Aloha Beauty Lounge or take a breather at Saha Yoga & Wellness House.

Food and drinks are never far away. Share a table at Tejas Chocolate & Barbecue or Tejas Burger Joint, snack on something sweet from Craving Kernels, or settle in with a drink at The Empty Glass, Thirsty Bee Meadery, Tomball Social Haus, or The Bluebonnet Tasting Room. A cozy stop at The Whistle Stop Tea Room or Graze Tomball rounds out the night.

It’s a relaxed, come-as-you-are evening that celebrates friendship and local businesses, all within a few walkable blocks in downtown Tomball.
