GET YOUR SUMMER BODY READY!

Getting your summer body doesn’t mean overhauling your life overnight. Start with 3 short workouts a week. Walk, stretch, lift light. Just move. Your body will thank you—and consistency always beats intensity.

Getting fit does not mean just lifting weights. If you are looking for some amazing trails for some good cardio, check out some of these amazing scenic places:

1. Theis Attaway Nature Center Trail
📍 13509 Theis Ln, Tomball
This hidden gem has a peaceful walking loop with scenic views, a pond, and a small amphitheater. It’s short and sweet—perfect for beginners or a post-workday stroll.

2. Burroughs Park
📍 9738 Hufsmith Rd, Tomball
This place is a cardio lover’s dream. 8 miles of trails, mostly paved and shaded. Ideal for running, biking, or walking the dog. Bonus: plenty of parking and restrooms.

3. Spring Creek Greenway Trail (nearby)
📍 Trailhead at Dennis Johnston Park, just outside Tomball
Not technically in Tomball, but super close. Over 20 miles of paved trails along Spring Creek—great for long runs or cycling. Beautiful views and wide paths make it a local favorite.

4. Juergens Park Trail
📍 1331 Ulrich Rd, Tomball
Family-friendly park with a short walking trail, good for casual cardio or light jogging. Not super long, but a nice loop if you're in the area.

Tip: Drink water before you're thirsty. If you are felling a little extra, a little pinch of Celtic sea salt can also work wonders. That midday crash? Probably dehydration, not just needing more coffee.

FOR THE LIFTERS

If you enjoy the feeling of the iron, here are some gyms that are hosting an “Open Gym” this weekend.

They welcome bodybuilders, powerlifters, and athletes, providing a supportive environment for diverse fitness goals. Their membership options include unlimited gym access, group training sessions, and monthly physical therapy sessions. Additionally, they offer day passes for those interested in trying out the facilities before committing to a membership.

Northside Gym is a community-focused fitness center known for its personalized training programs and state-of-the-art equipment. They offer flexible membership plans and emphasize creating a welcoming atmosphere for all fitness levels. Their Open Gym sessions provide an excellent opportunity to explore the facilities and meet their team of experienced trainers.

Both gyms offer unique experiences during their Open Gym sessions this weekend. Whether you're looking for specialized training environments or community-oriented fitness centers, these options cater to various preferences.

So go check these out and let us know how much you can bench 💪.
