BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
TEXAS SPORTS MEDICINE CENTER
This is not a gym everyone would know about. For over 40 years, the Texas Sports Medicine Center has been a cornerstone for athletes and active folks in our community. Since opening its doors in 1982, this 45,000-square-foot outpatient facility has set the standard for sports medicine in Northwest Houston, treating everyone from high school stars to weekend warriors and even some big names in professional sports.
What makes this center special? It’s their all-in-one approach. Whether you’re recovering from a sprain, managing a concussion, or looking to boost your performance, their team of board-certified physical therapists, athletic trainers, and orthopedic specialists has you covered. They offer cutting-edge services like aquatic therapy—unique in our region—for those needing low-impact rehab, plus athletic training and ACL injury prevention programs to keep you in the game.
But it’s not just for patients. The Fitness and Recreation Center welcomes everyone with a state-of-the-art gym, group classes like yoga and water aerobics, and even an indoor walking track and pool. Membership is open to all, no injury required, making it a hub for staying active in Tomball.
So if you are considering joining a great local gym, you can contact them at 281-351-6300 to discuss affordable membership options.
