Carly Filbin

This week we would like to introduce Carly Filbin. Carly Filbin is the co-owner and principal designer at Blue Jay Interiors, a full-service design firm just north of Tomball. With a degree in Interior Design from Texas State University and over a decade of experience, Carly blends timeless style with functionality to create beautiful, livable spaces.
What’s your favorite thing about living (or working) in Tomball?
"The small town feel!”
Can you share a memory or moment in Tomball that really shaped who you are today?
“I have only lived here 2 years, but loving how we support local businesses!”
What’s a local business or spot in Tomball you think everyone should know about?
“I love Honor Society Coffee and Saha Yoga!”

“The 2 above for sure! Add in pizza and a beer at Paradigm Brewing”
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
“I was voted Prom Queen my Senior year in high school, but really growing up a young girl I was really a tomboy!”
What motivates you to keep doing what you do?
“Seeing how good design truly affects people's lives”
Is there someone in the community who’s inspired you personally?
“All the great small business owners and how they keep serving in their own unique ways.”
How do you stay grounded or find balance in your busy life?
“Church and House church!!”
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone looking to make a difference in Tomball?
“Find a charity you love and go make a difference whenever you can!”
