Creators and founders like you are being told to “build a personal brand” to generate revenue but…
1/ You can be shadowbanned overnight
2/ Only 10% of your followers see your posts
Meanwhile, you can write 1 email that books dozens of sales calls and sells high-ticket ($1,000+ digital products).
After working with 50+ entrepreneurs doing $1M/yr+ with newsletters, we made a 5-day email course on building a profitable newsletter that sells ads, products, and services.
Normally $97, it’s 100% free for 24H.
NEW YEAR, NEW YOU
A new year doesn’t have to mean extreme resolutions or overnight transformations. This year, we’re keeping it local, doable, and meaningful. Here are five simple focus areas Tomball residents are choosing to lean into in the year ahead.
Support One New Local Business Each Month
A simple goal that adds up over time. Try one new restaurant, coffee shop, gym, or boutique each month. You don’t have to overhaul your routine. Just swap one familiar stop for something new and local. It’s an easy way to discover places you might have driven past for years while helping small businesses stay strong. Some great businesses are Honor Society Coffee Co., The Golden Knob Boutique, Victory Pie Co., Lions Den Gym, Brit’s Batch, Manna Bread From Heaven, and Tejas Chocolate + Barbecue. Be sure to also stop by the newly opened 1821 Coffee Infusion.
Get Outside and Rediscover Tomball
Many of us live here without fully experiencing it. Make this the year you walk downtown more often, attend outdoor events, or spend time at parks and community spaces you haven’t visited yet. Fresh air, familiar streets, and unplanned conversations tend to do more for your mindset than another screen break. Be sure to also stroll around the Tomball Farmer’s Market that happens every weekend.
Build Real Community Connections
This year doesn’t need more networking. It needs more neighbors knowing each other. Say yes to a local event, introduce yourself to someone new, or spend time supporting community gatherings. Tomball works best when people show up and stay connected beyond quick hellos.
Prioritize Health Without Extremes
Skip the all-or-nothing approach. Focus on steady habits you can keep, whether that’s walking more, attending a class, improving sleep, or taking recovery seriously. Consistency matters more than intensity, and local gyms and wellness businesses make it easier to stay on track. Check out some of the fitness events we mention that are hosted at the Tomball Community Center. Be sure to check out Heal Wellness Lounge that opened their doors back in July.
Be More Present in Everyday Moments
Not every meaningful moment comes from a big event. Put the phone down during meals, slow your pace at community gatherings, and give your full attention to the people you’re with. The routines of daily life tend to feel better when they aren’t rushed.
We ran across a video that feels a little too familiar this time of year. Someone is given one clear instruction: “Put it in reverse.” It gets repeated. Loudly. Things still go sideways.
If your New Year’s resolutions have ever started with confidence and ended in confusion by mid-January, this one will hit close to home. Sometimes the smartest move is slowing down, backing up, and trying again before things roll downhill.
Consider this your reminder to laugh, reset, and keep going.
