On Saturday, January 24, Tomball will host the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Junior Mounted Posse Relay Rides at the Depot Plaza. The junior mounted unit will ride into town beginning at 9:00 a.m. to deliver official proclamations inviting Tomball residents to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. This long-running tradition is in its 74th year and brings a piece of Texas heritage and community pride to our downtown area.

After the riders arrive, the Tomball Railroad Depot Museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Visitors of all ages can explore train memorabilia, original artwork, and detailed model railroad displays at no charge.
